Thanks for the birthday wishes, y'all. It was pretty great. My bro and his girlfriend took me to see "Unbroken" which was amazing. Pretty hard to watch at times. You could hear a pin drop in the theater. He was one tough son of a gun. Seeing everything the guy went through and survived (physically as well as emotionally, apparently) makes one put things in perspective. Turning 48 is nothing. :-)

Well, that, and I got the really bad crap over and done with pretty early on. Before I turned 21, I had cancer and 2 spinal cord injuries. So everything after that is just gravy bonus time. I have 45 linear inches of scars, chronic migraine headaches, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. It sucks. I need something to celebrate so it might as well be my birthday. :-)

Looks like under 60 yo is winning. Kaji I about see your # in a mirror. 23 was slightly fun. But wish I could be 21 for different reasons. I was "around knox", would Maybe like some things done different. But if I could go back I wouldn't be as "smart as I am now"..

Maybe if I could go back I find what I miss the most. My mind. :)

Why do you think I'm on this site? I'd rather learn it now than later, also the tuition to life's lessons is cheaper this way.

Be careful what you wish for. You may get your wish. LOL
Certainly agree with your thought on growing up now. That's why my focus is on setting up the kids and grandkids.

I have a "kid". Dont wanna think of the future teenage years, or grandkids. Im enjoying the young years. Being a dad is good in many ways imo (so far)...
