Baofeng what do you need to work it?

Have you tested your radios with and without the "rat tail" antenna booster?

I would be interested in how much better a radio works with it if it already HAS the upgraded whip antenna on it.

I did with my Yaesu...

With it I was able to talk through the Holiday repeater which was 35 miles away and 1100 ft up very well....
Without it is sounded weak...
