I agree with Letsgetreal, I been trekking through Panama, Tropical Mexico, Island hopped Caribbean, Deserts in California, Polynesia,  and Rocky Mountains and Florida is one of the best places to survive.  Just have to watch out for the creepy crawlies and the things with teeth.  Long growing season, plentiful aquifer, and abundant protein to be had.

Well, let me add, in that situation, I would avoid folks at all costs.......certainly try to see them before they see me......if they seem ok, I might approach them and see if I could barter for clothes and stuff.

....Btw, I'd have a ferro stick( and a BIC) in my pants pocket, so I'd have fire to cook whatever I could catch.

In the original premise, ya got no pants, so, no flickin' your Bic! (or stick)

Fighting4Freedom,
I would like the entire post on edible wild plants. Can we put it in the food section?
Thank you so much.

Not a bad video! Of course not marking in snow, but using sand on the ground...

If you are without a compass, there are natural techniques to find your way. Using only the sun, and sticks, this method is very easy once learned. It's good to practice once in a while to keep you...

The first thing to do is assess your physical state for injury and tend any the best you can with what you have.

Next, Shelter is a priority regardless of where you are. If a cold climate to prevent hypothermia, if tropical to prevent dehydration or sun stroke.

If you have no idea where you are knowing direction will not help, you need a frame of reference. If in FL going east or west will take you to the coast and civilization. If in the middle of nowhere your only choice would be to follow the tracks of the aggressors in or out of the location since they would have come from or were going to some form of civilization. Unless there is some other sign of civilization such as river, stream, road etc. to follow.

As you attempt to egress water is a priority, food secondary. Florida is flush with water and food, other locations may be more of a challenge.
