1 of the most serious concerns in medical sanitation all over the earth is the spread and diversification of Methicillin-Resistant Staphyloccocous Aurus known as M.R.S.A., a "super-bug" with extreme-resistance to more than 5 common, modern antibiotics.
M.R.S.A. has been found [possibly just re-discovered] to be quite vulnerable to essential oils from:
Lemongrass Geranium Meleleuca alternifolia [Tea Tree oil] Camphor Lavender and many others [I'm still compiling a list]
This is a good reason to check ou a local aromatherapy store or even a Whole Fooods nearby. Now to study the oil application methods.

I can tell you from some major personal experience, that without modern pharmacology,CA MRSA will kill you"PERIOD"!!Even with most Antibiotics you can be in serious $h!t if you contract some of the more resistant strains!!Those natural remedies as well as several others(garlic oil, tumerc, eucalyptis)I've tried them all singly and in combinations with limited effect at best.Colloidal silver works better and it's effect on MRSA only keeps it at a stand still. The only thing I've found that works fairly well is a concoction I came up with in desperation, when I used myself as a guinea pig instead of a doctor for the 7th year in a row. The mixture is 50%Red iodine,25%DMSO,25%ivermectrin horse wormer, and 500mg of chelated zinc mixed thouroughly.Apply to the pustule/boil and bandage twice daily. If you use this recipe,"you do so at your own risk".It worked better for me than most of what the doctor perscribed. My advice is to stock up on antibiotics.Tri-sulpha,cephalexin,amoxiclav,and tetracycline. If you need to find these, just Google"fish antibiotics".If you question quality go to KV vet online.I trust their med quality and have personally used their antibiotics. The last time I was battling MRSA,I used 500mg each of the tri-sulpha,and cephalexin every 12hours,and the crap was gone and healed in a week and a half VS weeks of treatment by a doctor.(IMPORTANT)If/when you go to a doctor/hospital heres a site with the proper guidelines that your care provider"SHOULD"be following. www.idph.state.il.us/health/infect/MRSA_Provider.htm .Matt

Thank-You very Much for the link, Matt. I've saved the info on my hard-drive so I can reference it later on.
And Yes, I will definitely be stocking-up on cephalexin, tetracycline, sulfas, etc. as well as colloidal silver and select essential oils.
Glad to hear that you pulled-through your infection allright.

I've caught it every fall since 2002.Probably something to do with all the critters at my place. It can be spread/carried by dogs, cats, rabbits, swine, and ferrets. We have them all and then some,at the acrage I live on.Just remember that most natural cure it all remedies are B.S..You'll notice that most of the sites that talk about miracle natural cures, are trying to sell you some natural cure all snake oil concoction.Matt

My only focus on natural healing antibiotics are the essential oil extracts. I don't doubt your word that the M.R.S.A. strain that affects you only diminishes against your mixed-drug cocktail. But are you trying to tell me that any claims of essential oils working against super-bugs are lies?

I've had "5"different Lab tested Gram+ strains of MRSA,and as I stated Essential Oils had little if no effect in treating it.I'm not saying that there isnt a holistic remedy/cure for MRSA.I am saying that out of the stuff we've listed none worked either singly or in combination. What did work was essentially poisoning the crap out of the effected area.As far as holistic cure alls, theres usually a scheister pushing a supposed miracle cure when claims are made.I'm one who's done alot of webfu, and book research on natural remedies and have found most to be lacking.About the only remedy I've found in the treatment of MRSA,is to take a tea bag and and saturate/soak it in hot lemon concentrate. You then take the hot tea bag and tape it over the boil, bandage it,and leave it overnight. This draws the infection to the surface and will burst the boil to drain the goo.Matt
