Covid got it!

...We are still using that one, right?

Went to wal-mart wed. morning,waiting for the doors to open at 6am.
Was hopeing to stock up(hey,thats a prep) on 1/2 price,clearence Halloween candy.
No price change on the big,bulk bags of assorted candy,and the specific Halloween labled ones had already been removed or sold out.Wasn't interested in decorations.

Been doing this after every holiday for food items,but not much success the last 2-3 years..maybe since covid?In the past,I've gotten some great deals.1 year I got a bunch,maybe 2 dozen of the little Christmas cutting board trays with cheese,sausage,crackers,etc...for $1 each.Used them to take to work for lunch once a week,chaper than Taco Bell.Seems like all the deals are before the holiday,like turkeys,hams,baking items.

I did make a score at Home Depot after Xmas last year.Strings of clear led Xmas lights,both ac and AA battery,for 1-2$ each,much better light than a candle or lantern,and low wattage..also extention cords.

wow! Cades Cove is an area visited by millions. Thats cool to know that's where your family was from.

Florida's the same old routine every day. all good.

What part of east tenn you from? My moms side of the family has lived in the Rogersville / Hawkins county area since the 1700's.

They do make electrically conductive wire glue.    I've never used it, but you can find it on Amazon.
