Happy New Year!
Let's hope 24 works out well.
based on the news headlines, I'm surprised more preppers are not showing up.

This business in the Mideast looks to be growing. Iran looks to be getting more directly involved, so let's see how that plays out. and as usual the crazy little guy in north Korea is as always rattling his little nuclear sabers.  China wants to get Tiawan back, and Russia is taking a beating in Ukraine. Both of their economies are going downhill fast.

None of these even touch on domestic issues.

Lots to watch this year, and lots to think about as far as preparedness goes.

Welcome from southeast of Orlando.

Not aware of any specific groups, but this forum used to have several active members from the Groveland area, but it seems many have fallen off the group.

Hello all,

First post, new to the Winter Garden/Clermont area. Does anyone know of a prepper meetup in the area? Could also be a camping, hunting/shooting meet up as well!

Thanks,

Graham

The thing that gets me, in this movie and in real life, is the unprepared think they can go to the prepared guy's house and ask him to give them stuff (in this case medicine).

"But we really need it...."

I know people that say that as well. When I used to mention prepping to coworkers, some said I'll just come to your house, and they were serious.

You try to tell people to get prepared, and they instead think it's an invitation.

Thats why I limit how much I say now.

If you have Netflix, watch the new movie "Leave the world behind".

Very interesting premise and message.  Similar to the initial chapters in One second after.

I'd love to have a discussion on it, the pros and cons of the characters and how I would have reacted differently.

Loved it... Great Movie...  :o
