Looks good. My only advice is to either disable comments or make peace with the yahoos and trolls that will be displaying their ignorance.

So far so good, but two minor criticisms: Too much back-lighting, and the Mrs. looks like she's ready to jump up out of her seat.

Yeah, it was time of day with the building in the back ground (Light shining off of it) and the camera on that one (old camera). I have to used the older cams for now, which are not perfect. But work with the editing program I have. I cannot edit footage from the iphone or the GoPro we have (mP4 files).
As far as the wife? She was trying to maintain good posture, or beat my ass for not letting her say much...

Going to do next video on shelving units we use. Will try to show how they assemble, as well as different configurations they can be used in.
Also get a little more of the construction of the food shelves.

How where the ribs? They sure looked good from here. :)

Ribs were great, meat came of the bone very easily unlike Sonny's ribs which you have to work at a little more. Solar Cooking is a great idea, as it doesn't use any power. I am wanting to work on a turn table which will turn the oven for us and hoping it will make it more efficient. Certainly we will have to watch it a lot the first few times to get the timing down, so that we do not over cook the food.
As far as the next video, well there were a few hinks to it... Kept running out of battery power, cause I have been recycling (old alkaline) batteries in a new charger we have... Second it ended up being to long for one video, so I am breaking it down to two videos this week. Bonus video I suppose... I need to start working on doing smaller items (i.e. the multi battery charger/ recycle we have)
So New videos will be posted within a couple of hours

I got the small bags from Kifaru, they have some which are lighter than the ones I have and I will one day get them. They are just not that high on the priority list at the moment. The hygiene kit in the video is one that I had in the Army. Ill link you to one I am replacing it with...

Are our videos boring? I am looking at the analitics of the videos and it does not appear as thoug people are watching the entire video.
What can we do to ramp it up a bit, with out being fake?
Is information enough? Do we need to do a song and dance? Am I being over critical? Just curious.....

I follow your link to YouTube and once the video starts streaming, I use Download Helper to save the videos to my computer since my connection will cause lots of buffering.
Information is great, and I don't think I really want to see you singing and dancing. ::) :P ^-^ ;D

I think you're doing good.
The one thing that might be contributing to what you're seeing is the length of some of the vids. To me it's not an issue because if I'm interested in the content of what I'm watching the length doesn't bother me. If you're having fun with it then that's what counts.
Btw the solar oven vids are cool. Back in the elementary school days I remember making them out of shoe boxes in science class and baking soggy cookies. Its neat to see that a good one can cook meals for a family.

I do need to ask your assistance with this endeavor... I am going to ask that you watch the videos actually on you tube... Yes these are monetized. Hopefully they are interesting enough. Ill will do requests if you ask... I haven't received a single cent as of yet... But I am trying to figure out how it works....

I have a couple topic suggestions Sentry. So far you have focused on stuff. I know that you are really strong on that stuff. I have seen how methodical you are.
But I think you could do a short one on getting started, general prepping concepts etc. Use graphics, or large notepads like used in training conferences ( big ones on easels)
You can use that beginning prepping class I put in the downloads for an idea starter. But I think with stuff, some folks get the concept and then tune out maybe. But with informational type stuff, each new point will pull them back in.
Just a thought. Can knock the idea around more if you like.

Ok, sooo.... I'm going to try to do something soon... Sorry I keep getting side tracked.... Oh, and the videos are no longer monetized, there apparently a lot you have to do to actually get money. Silly, basically you have to share it with a conglomerate.
