I got a text message earlier today. Capt Nat has been in a motorcycle accident and had to be airlifted to the hospital. No life-threatening injuries, thankfully, but a shattered shin, broken knee, a broken shoulder, and lots of pain. A truck pulled out in front of him. That sounds like it's going to be a long recovery. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

OK. I finally made contact with the Admiral. His injuries are NOT life threatening. Broken leg and shoulder. He will not be going thru any metal detectors. I don't think he can have any visitors yet. A truck made a turn in front of him. Trucks fault. Cannot even use crutches for at least three months. She said they are both ok at this point. I offered my help if they need anything. The Admiral said she would keep me informed.
I will pass on any info I get.

I got a call last night from our friend Daywalker about our other buddy the Capt. We are both sorry to hear about this and our prayers are with you Capt. Nat Daywalker has forgotten his password and asked me to relay for him. I'm sure he will figure it out before to long. Capt take it easy and get well I'm ready to hear puff the magic dragon again.

Not too much of an update but Nat is doing a bit better. They have allowed him to be moved to a hospital closer to home to begin therapy. He still hurts and is still pretty dosed but hes begun hitting on all the nurses. 8)
Everything for the better day by day.

im not sure hitting on nurses is a sign of him getting better. Im betting he can do that is his sleep.

text to talk...I hope captain gets better soon I will be praying. phone issues and have not been around in a few days. I hope you have good recovery. had a bad incident at work a while ago years back. still suffering little bit. so sorry to hear of this news

Per the Admiral on Sunday the 28th, the Captain is doing well and in good spirits while struggling with his physical therapy.

he's not struggling. its part of a ploy to get more attention from those pretty nurses. The man borderline superhero, not even a truck can stop him :)

If He keeps flirting with them nurses,the Admiral going to turn Him into Capt.Crunch.
Then He'll really need our prayers.
