: Edible Florida
: Alas Babylon May 03, 2015, 10:26:47 AM
My workplace hosted an earth day event, and one of the groups displaying information was selling a book called "A beginner's guide to edible Florida" - A guide to many of the edible and traditional herbal plants of Florida and the southeastern U.S.

by Don Philpott and Noreen Corle Engstrom, also gives an acknowledgement to Green Deane.

I bought a copy, and am amazed: good pictures, lists of where to find, what to use, what it does and hazards, also has medicinal uses.
A great book if your interested in the food all around you.

I have heard the author gives classes, A coworker and I are looking into the schedule and locations around central Florida.
