Are You seeing a twister future possibility, that if the Government does crack down and people RISE Up. How does this effect change the preparation mindset of a catastrophic failure or event?
Other nations may sweep in to hinder all of us. Debt bubbles are close to popin', government is oppressive, nations are rising against nations. And a Possible NWO wizard of Oz might try mergers. Terrorist organizations, and false flags.

If the military does move on citizens. That there is unconstitutional! It's unfathomable treasonous behavior.. they get deployment to our streets, or fire a shot there will be imo HELL Fire! In this contry.

Only thing interesting in that article was the reference to where the essay was originally located. I just looked up the Small Wars Journal. While I didn't find the essay in this "news" piece, did spot a treasure trove of other great articles. Going to be spends a good deal of time on that website reading.

The only people I see rising up are the Black Lives Matter crowd. I certainly wont be joining that revolution. Everybody else is too busy trying to make a living and enjoying life with their spare time. I'll admit I've found myself CCWing a larger gun as a result of the increased active shooter incidents.

But, you wont be innocent when they do. Wont turn in youre semi auto rifle? Terrorist use those therefore you are aiding and abetting terrorist. Guilty.

I think I will hear of confiscation and loose my combination numbers and (coughing) misplace some stuff.
I have a lil one I worry of leaving a firearm in reach. I keep up with mine, and do what I can. I try keeping up with new laws and what is in place.
I like the old phrase that you can take my firearms from my cold dead hands. But I also like the phrase what dont kill me better run.
I dont want to willingly allow whatever weapons I got be taken especially by force. But I also have a mind that is of some value.
Know when to fight, know when to run, pick your ground, be smart. Hide when necessary and do whatever needs done...

Wait until the next depression . Feds take over all banks, issue ID cards that double as debit cards, paycheck is now deposited into federal account. No cash and no "buying or selling" without the um, card.

This is what I believe, some would but many would not! The military doesn't operate in a vacuum, they know what is going on and the oath keeper movement is pretty big in the military (and among law enforcement on the local level).

I see many without any words walk in a Airport, an Amusement park, and lock theres up, or leave them behind. No, hey what's this I got a right, or I have a CCW, 2nd amendment says I CAN stuff. No protests, no rallies nothing. Go to work and leave your weapons behind many people say nothing and Will.

I went through security, said no weapons of any sort. I said my peace. And still kept a Knife!
TERRORISTS WILL! THEY ADMITTEDLY HAVE CAHONAS! They say beeeep the Law I carry and I take you out before they see AlfaLfa! :) we wouldn't Dare! ??? It may not technically change a Darn thing! But I wont leave ALL my stuff behind and not Say SOMETHING! And I will ADMIT IT! I have took a knife into some parks (they say no weapons- I got something). I also have my Cane.
We shouldn't just go silently into the night. We should go Yelling !!!!

I'm with you "D". I will do my best to obey the rules. But to a point! There are some places that I just don't go to if I ain't allowed to conceal carry or have some kind of protection with me- period.
Hey even though the VA says no weapons, I still have been able to have a pocket knife on me without any problems. I will not go along with the blind and mindless idiots....

I think imo we Former Service Troops would stress to a small degree over EVENTS, thats why services Train, we "worry" about possibilities in combat therefore we do in life, and "train" for the possibilities of future "worry"

basically like we did in the scouts be prepared for anything.... keep an eye on the chalkboard and deal with situation as they happen...
